Responsibilities - Analysis

• Cost Management
• Rates,  manpower, and progress ; inconsistencies,  errors and omissions  by  contractor.
• Budget vs Spend vs Forecast
• Estimating including pipeline estimates
• Contractor vs Owner's Cost
• Verify contractor's progress  - go to the field
• Invoices - review for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Interact with accounting and finance departments
• Review schedule and cost for alignment
• Review contractor estimates
• Change Management: change orders - review  for compliance with project scope &  execution plan and cost impact.
• Create WBS
• Review materials: quantity,  cost, received, remaining and forecast
• Review timing of long lead items
• Validate the submittal of  progress payments
• Quantity Survey
• Maintain log of potential settlements/claims issues, 

• Cost  - budget, committed, actuals, incurred, and forecast.
• Progress 
• Report on variances and trends - raise the flag!
